Welcome to Hope Whitby. We are a ‘Network of Families on Mission.’
We love. We Share. We Meet. We Eat. We Grow. We Go. We Rest.
On our journey with Him we seek to live a life like Jesus.
We love being family and telling others about God while serving our town lovingly
through ‘Malachi Storehouse’ our free at the point of need foodbank,
‘Wings’ – our project aimed at alleviating period poverty
and a free meal once a month (read on for further details.)
From September 2021 Hope Whitby has a new rhythm of meeting altogether -
Hope Meets, Hope Eats, Hope Rests and Hope Has Fun.

Hope Grows
None of these changes affect what we call Hope Grows…
Our House Communities which run every Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning,
Our ladies’ group, which runs monthly,
Armour ( our men’s group),
HYP or Hope Youth.

Hope Meets
Do you like meeting other disciples?
Talking about how God has made a big impact on your life?
Or just being in a warm loving family environment?
Then come and join us here!
On the First Wednesday of the month, we gather at Sanders Yard Restaurant at 7:30pm.
We sing together, listen to a short talk, pray together and eat delicious cakes!
Hope Eats
Do you like baking? Eating? Having a chat?
Then this is the place for you!
On the second Sunday of each month, we meet at Airy Hill School 1-2pm.
We eat together, share our food, show off our baking skills and meet new people.
Children are catered for with activity packs and plenty to do!
We call this Hope Eats.
Hope Rests
At Hope Whitby we know that it is important to take time to rest and be with family.
So each third Sunday of the month we have a rest week – Hope Rests.
We might choose to pray, read our Bible, visit family or just relax!
Hope Has Fun
Do you like going for a stroll?
Eating?
Having fun and meeting new people in a safe and loving place?
Then check this out!
Each last Sunday of the month ‘Hope Has Fun!’
We meet at 12pm for various activities.
We might go to a park and have a picnic, go for a walk together, enjoy an afternoon at the beach
or just have tea and scones at someone’s house.
Hope Goes
Malachi Storehouse is our Food Bank that supports the people of Whitby and the surrounding area.
Jesus told His disciples to feed the hungry and we do this by providing food and supplies to those in need.
Additionally, we also supply sanitary products to ensure that no-one suffers because of period poverty.
The food that we provide is supplied by the generosity of the people of Whitby, Sainsbury's supermarket, various businesses in the area and funding provided by various organisations.
